Happy new year y'all!
I had a brief look in B&Q at Clifton Moor last week, and they have stacks of the larger timber we need for the bridge. It's called 'CBS Timber', don't know what that means, and costs £1.98 per 8' length. It was all stacked up at the end of the aisle. Even if we don't get it from there, it'll give us an idea of what to ask for from a timber merchant and how much it should cost.
Bill, when does set building start up again? This Saturday or next week?
Mike.
First Set building is on Thurs 15th Jan. 9-6pm in Goodricke Hall.
If anyone can find us some of this timber, about 35x70mm cross-section. (25x50mm is the cross-section of the thinner bits, we want the thicker, less dense timber)
8 x 8' lengths would be great. Let me know if and when anyone can get these.
Bill
